The Preparing to Dream community kickoff event, originally scheduled for September 24, has been rescheduled to November 13 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the University of Houston Athletic/Alumni Center.

Superintendents, school board members, school teams and coaches from the five participating districts -- Aldine, Cypress-Fairbanks, Goose Creek, Houston and Spring Branch -- will join Houston A+ Challenge, the National College Access Network, the Greater Houston P-16 Council, and the Preparing to Dream coordinating board for this celebration event.

School teams will share their pilot plans for the next three years of work, made possible through grants from Houston Endowment.

Light appetizers will be served. School teams and special guests are welcome; if you did not receive an invitation yet wish to attend, please email rsvp@houstonaplus.org with "PTD Kickoff" in the subject line. Space is limited.
